Phylicia Bolton is a proud native of St. Louis. After graduating from Clyde C. Miller Career Academy in 2007, she enrolled at the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff. While enrolled at the University she was involved in several extracurricular activities such as class senator, officer in the Missouri Club, and Thurgood Marshall College Fund Student Ambassador.
She is also a proud Spring 2009 initiate of the Delta Eta Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with Bachelors of Science in Business Administration in May 2011. Immediately following, she enrolled at Washington University-St. Louis. In May 2012, she earned a Masters of Science in Finance with an emphasis in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking. Although her initial plan was to leave St. Louis after graduating from Washington University, God had other plans.
In July 2012, she joined Wells Fargo Advisors as part of the Wealth Brokerage & Retirement Analyst Program (now the WIM Analyst Program). Her career initially began in the Finance department where her primary responsibilities included financial modeling and data analysis. After spending approximately 6 years in Finance working her way from Analyst to Senior Financial Consultant Phylicia made the transition to Wells Fargo Advisors’ Digital & Automated Investing business unit as a Performance Management Consultant. In her current role, it is her responsibility to assess and data and provide timely and actionable insights to executive leadership.
Outside of her day to day responsibilities she is also involved in several activities/groups within Wells Fargo Advisors such as member of the Women’s Team Member Network, board member of the Diverse Abilities Team Member Network, B/AA Initiative, and mentor for the WFA Practicum program, a semester internship program for students enrolled in local colleges/universities such as Harris Stowe State University, Webster University and University of Missouri-St. Louis.
Outside of work, Phylicia is an active member of the St. Louis Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. She serves as a Sunday school teach and leader of the Youth Ministry of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. She has passion for supporting organizations and events with an emphasis on mental health, domestic violence and abuse, breast cancer awareness and diverse abilities advocacy and support. Her personal hobbies include fitness, drawing, reading and spending time with family, friends and her fur baby.
